NCC is a small, close-knit environment. You have an opportunity to meet many students through the different activities and get to know each other pretty well.
I definitely feel like part of the family here at NCC. I can walk through up to the business office counter, and I'm always greeted with a smile. And if I have a question, I know that someone is going to be there to help me. So I always feel safe. I don't feel lost. I don't feel like a little fish in a big pond.
What I enjoyed most about being able to experience the full campus life and living close to home is that if I needed to quick run home for something, I could just go home. I only lived about an hour away. But I was also able to have some independence from my parents, my family, which was also very nice.
It's been a great experience. Because even when it gets tough, I know that what I'm doing here is going to help me get further ahead in life. I know that the education that I'm getting is unparalleled.
We are number one of the nation in our electrical programs. So that just has given me that kind of drive that even when it gets tough, all right, I need to just buckle down, get it done. Because at the end of the day, everything I'm doing is going to be worth it.
